INSTRUCTIONS

Please read the following information carefully before proceeding with the Electronic Student Financial Assistance access process. The information contained in this page may save you unnecessary effort.

Please read through the Online Services System Requirements before accessing for the first time or if you are having difficulty accessing the system.

WHAT DO YOU NEED BEFORE YOU REGISTER ON- LINE FOR THE FIRST TIME?

Your Social Insurance Number (SIN), health care number ( HCP )

WHO CAN USE THIS SITE ?

For inquiry

  1. Current students or those that have access and/or applied for NWT SFA previously.
  2. Those who have outstanding student loans 

For on-line applications

  1. Returning students
  2. Students applying for SFA for the first time, who were educated in the NWT
  3. Northern residents who have lived in the NWT for the past 12 months, who would be considered normally resident

Other Requirements:

  1. Programs must be full-time and at least 12 consecutive weeks in length
  2. Online applications must be completed before the program start date.

Applications that do not meet the above criteria must be submitted via paper or fax and are not eligible for online submission.
