Screen Settings and Font Requirements

This site is best viewed at an 800 X 600 or higher screen resolution. To change this setting, simply minimize all open windows, then right click on the desktop. From the list that appears click on "Properties", choose "Settings" and set the size slider bar to 800 X 600. (Note: this will change your monitor settings so be sure that your video card is capable of this change before executing this command)

The font size in your browser should also be set to "smaller" and the font type to "Arial" for best results. If you are not sure how to change this, it has been outlined for you below.

  • Internet Explorer - Choose "View" from the top navigation bar. Then select on "Text Size", and choose "smaller" or a suitable size if your screen is set higher than 800 X 600.
  • Netscape - If you are using Netscape Communicator go to "View" and select increase or decrease text (or use the CTRL key plus the [ & ] keys). If you are using Netscape 6.0 you will need to go to view, then select on text size and select the percentage that you wish to use (or use the CTRL key & the + or - keys). To check the font style, go to "Edit" and click on "Preferences". In the category column on the left click on "Fonts". To the right ensure that the "Variable Width Font is set to "Arial".
